Patricia Hultman

Patricia Hultman, 66, of Carroll, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at her home in Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Fr. Timothy Johnson of Holy Spirit Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will resume at 10 a.m. Friday, and continue until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be left at the funeral home for the family of Patricia Hultman. Born on November 7, 1948 in Carroll, Iowa, Patricia was the daughter of Vern and Vera (Joynt) Heithoff. She grew up in the Carroll Community, and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. On June 22, 1968, Patricia was united in marriage to Ron Wolterman, from this union there came, Chris, Cory, Jason, and Jennifer. The couple later separated. She lived between Glidden and Carroll before she moved to Cherokee in 1975. In 1980 she married Ron Hultman, to this union there came Tricia. Patricia moved to Storm Lake in 1983, where she attended college for business. In 1984 she moved to Arizona where she worked for U.P.S. before transferring to Georgia. Patricia then retired to the Carroll community in 2009. Patricia was known for her poetry writing, craftiness, and being a sentimental person. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, and canning. She was always glad to help, and be needed. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and friends. Most of all Patricia enjoyed the time she spent with her children, and grandchildren. Left to celebrate Patricia’s life are her children: Chris (Betty Jo) Wolterman of Des Moines, Cory (Ann) Wolterman of Cherokee, Jason (Jewell) Wolterman of Richmond, Virginia, Jennifer (Brian) Wymer of Spirit Lake, and Tricia (Mike Avila) Richardson of Encinitas, California; her grandchildren: Tyler Goodwin, Shyann Wolterman, Andrew Hill, Emma Wolterman, Caleb Wolterman, Tanner Ellefson, Anna Ellefson, Ruby Wymer, Nolan Wymer, J.T. Matthews, and Jacob Matthews; her siblings: Jean Collison of Carroll, Joan (Fred) Stone of Lincoln, Nebraska, Richard (Kathy) Heithoff of California, Joyce (Scott) Antisdel of Glidden, Helen (Rick) Pudenz of Glidden, and Doug (Leslie) Heithoff of Illinois; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; and her nephews: Jessie Soyer and Joey Soyer.
